Steps for Transferring to Resolve Server[edit]

Step 1: Accessing the Resolve Server[edit]

Begin by accessing the Resolve server. Use the command K to load into the VNC directly into the Resolve server.

Step 2: Adding a Project Library[edit]

Once in the Resolve server, add a project library. This could be a new project like "Pan Flute Sessions" or an existing project like "Daylight Sessions" or "Safe and Sound Showcase."

Step 3: Working with Local Resolve[edit]

Access DaVinci Resolve and locate your local database and project folder.

Step 4: Exporting the Project[edit]

Export your local project to the desktop or somewhere you can easily locate it. For example, if your project is named "Pan Flute Performance," export it accordingly.

Step 5: Importing to Server[edit]

Return to the home page of the Wreckroom Resolve server. Add the project library you named earlier, such as "Pan Flute Sessions," and set the location to resolve.wreckroom.nyc, which is the servers filepath

Import your local .drp file to the project folder within the server.

Step 6: Ensuring File Accessibility[edit]

Important: Ensure all files are uploaded to the appropriate category in the SMB file server. Without this, others may access the project but not the files.
